Security by architecture
Security built into the data path
Tenant-isolated access, identity-bound authorization, deterministic validation, controlled outbound delivery, auditable events, provider-backed encryption, and fail-closed production configuration.
Assurance
Aveniqra is building toward independent security assurance and certification where relevant to customer requirements. No certification, audit opinion or compliance status should be inferred unless it is explicitly identified with its scope and current evidence.
Architectural controls.
Controls are described as implemented architecture and operational boundaries, not as evidence of an external certification unless explicitly stated.
Identity
Identity-bound authentication for account access.
Clerk is the application identity provider. Aveniqra does not operate a second password authority. Privileged access can be protected with stronger authentication and account controls through the identity provider.
Tenant isolation
Organisation boundaries enforced at the data layer.
Tenant identity is derived from verified identity rather than trusted from browser request bodies. Data access is scoped to the authenticated tenant and sensitive server mutations require the server authority path.
Encryption
Provider-backed encryption for hosted application and data infrastructure.
For the hosted services Aveniqra currently uses, Supabase and Vercel document AES-256 encryption at rest. Supabase documents encrypted network communication using TLS 1.2 with modern cipher suites, and Vercel documents TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. These claims are scoped to the provider services and configurations described in their current security documentation; Aveniqra does not describe the platform as zero-knowledge.
Data validation
Schema and deterministic checks before delivery.
Pipeline data can be subject to schema, type and financial reconciliation controls before destination delivery. Records that fail required checks stop or enter an exception path instead of silently continuing.
Auditability
Material events can be recorded with identifiers and timestamps.
Ingestion, validation, exception, approval and delivery events can be captured in audit and evidence records. Production evidence integrity must be verified against the deployed database policies and access controls before it is relied on for contractual or assurance purposes.
Outbound protection
Controlled destination and tool execution.
Outbound operations are routed through approved integrations and policy gates. Sensitive actions can require explicit approval, while unapproved arbitrary destinations and unsafe network targets are rejected by backend controls.
Secrets management
Service credentials remain server-side.
API keys, OAuth material and destination credentials are server-side configuration or provider-managed connection material. They are not intentionally exposed in browser state or client-side configuration exports.
Untrusted input boundary
External files and payloads remain untrusted until validated.
Aveniqra does not claim malware scanning or file quarantine unless the relevant upload path, isolated storage and scanner are deployed and verified. Upload features must restrict type and size, prevent execution and fail closed when validation is unavailable.
Fail-closed configuration
Unsafe production configuration should fail rather than silently downgrade.
Production gates are designed to detect missing identity, backend, security or provider configuration and report the system as unavailable or not ready instead of pretending that production capability exists.
Exception routing
Uncertain records stop instead of being guessed through.
Unknown mappings, failed reconciliation, missing required fields or low-confidence assisted extraction can trigger review, rejection or dead-letter handling before a downstream side effect occurs.
Data lifecycle
Minimise retained customer data.
Retention periods are governed by the customer agreement, privacy notice and the configuration actually deployed. Production launch requires verification that scheduled deletion, recovery windows and legal holds operate as documented.
Legal, financial, security and audit records may require separate retention. A policy statement does not itself prove that deletion, quarantine or immutable evidence is operating.
Assurance roadmap
Structured without invented dates.
Readiness baseline
Control inventory, policies, ownership and evidence requirements defined.
Evidence operation
Controls exercised continuously with audit evidence, incident drills, access reviews and retention verification.
Independent preparation
Gap assessment and remediation against the assurance framework selected for customer requirements.
External audit window
Formal audit only after scope, auditor and evidence period are contractually established.
Aveniqra does not publish a SOC 2 audit date until scope, auditor and evidence period are actually committed.
Provider and processing transparency
Review Aveniqra subprocessors, feature-dependent providers and procurement references.

Security requirements, procurement evidence and architecture questions can be reviewed directly with Aveniqra.
